Night Shift 4 10's MON-TR, plus 8 hours on Friday if needed for OT 5:00pm-3:30am Mon - Thurs, Fabrication of raw material. Set up and operate fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; shaping metal; or inspecting, assembling, and smoothing sheet metal. Ensure selection of correct raw material by following detailed instructions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Load material into machine, perform necessary operations to complete fabrication. • Keep written record of tasks performed, time required and other necessary data. • Maintain equipment, making repairs and modifications when necessary. • Select raw material according instruction. • Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal parts Qualifications and Education Requirements • 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent qualification. • Certification to operate forklift preferred Equipment Used • Hand tools • Various types of sheet metal • Tape measure **Skills** shop welder, MIG welder, Tidewater Tech, ATI, Welding Certifi*, drawings, blueprints, mild steel, fabrication, fab shop **Top Skills Details** shop welder, MIG welder, Tidewater Tech, ATI, Welding Certifi*, drawings, blueprints, mild steel, fabrication, fab shop **Additional Skills & Qualifications** 1+ years experience in manufacturing Must be able to read a tape measure Spot welding experience H.S.
