Sheet Metal Programmer II
**Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Hopkinton, NH who is looking to hire on an additional Sheet Metal Programmer II on 1st shift! ***This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity***** **Position:** + Sheet Metal Programmer II **Pay Rate:** + $24.00 - $28.00/hr based on previous experience **Schedule:** + 1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm + Overtime as necessary + Flexible scheduling available if supervisor approved **Job Summary:** The role of the Sheetmetal Programmer II is to use moderate programming techniques and processes to produce accurate and quality parts. This position will help train less experienced team members in the Sheetmetal shop by sharing guidance and knowledge of programming procedures. The ability to organize multiple projects and apply moderate level critical thinking skills is crucial for success in this position. **Essential Functions:** + Programming of moderate jobs on CNC laser/punching machine with assistance + Be sought out to provide technical solutions to less experienced team members + Responsible for checking prints and models using various inspections techniques + Keep a clean and orderly work area + Complete machine setup/NC sheets for all jobs programmed + Edit legacy programs and setups if needed + Ability to multitask with frequent interuptions + Maintain file structure in database + Fill out shop request forms if tooling is needed for a project + Determine the correct tooling for the job to ensure quality and lowest run time + Perform other duties as assigned **Qualifications:** + Moderate knowledge of Fabriwin programming software + Moderate knowledge of Solidworks modeling software + Moderate knowledge of production methods + Moderate knowledge of complex fixturing techniques + Moderate knowledge of shop mechanics, mathematics and measurement + Experienced working with multiple types of materials + Moderate understanding of punch tooling type **Education and Professional Experience:** + Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related field preferred + A minimum of 3 years programming and/or engineering/manufacturing experience required + High School diploma or GED required **If you are interested in this position or others available, please apply with an updated resume or call Matt Cram at 603-373-4122** Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401k plan.
