Aircraft Structural Assembly: North Charleston, South CarolinaJob DescriptionWe are seeking Aircraft Assembly Structures Mechanics to support various production areas across different airplane programs.This role involves working in a manufacturing assembly environment, utilizing training and certification knowledge to complete assigned tasks.Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, reading work instructions, and identifying necessary tools, parts, and equipment to ensure defect-free work.ResponsibilitiesSet up and validate jigs and other tooling setups.Perform close tolerance drilling and installations in critical aircraft structural areas.Utilize various fastener removal tools and techniques.Work with CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), aluminum, and titanium structural materials, including drilling, sanding, and fastening.Use various structural assembly hand tools and air tools.Inspect work quality and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD).Additional Skills & Qualifications7+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Those with 7+ years will be paid 40 an hour

Those with 15-20 years will be paid 50-52 an hour

Those under from 3-7 years will be paid 34 an hour

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr.
