Position: Sheeting Operator I
Location: Batavia, IL
Wage: $19.89
Shift: Monday – Thursday 5:00AM - 3:00PM OT as needed.

While reporting to the Manager, this position will perform steel packaging manufacturing quality assurance tasks and services to support the plant's overall business plans and objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assist with make ready on the sheeterResponsible for preparing rolls for efficient flow through the sheeter including staging rolls, setting up rolls, and threading paper through tension rollersInspection of each roll prior to sheeting – segregate and report all non conforming rolls to Quality TechPlace loads in staging areas for printing operationsMaintain a clean and safe work area – responsible for completion of sweet sheets at the end of each shiftAdherence to all safety and operational proceduresAssist with maintenance

Must be able to speak, read, and write in EnglishMechanical aptitude2+ years experience in manufacturing environment (preferred)
