Job Description
Working on an Assembly Line. Plastic Discs are snapped together using hands or a small tool. Then, the Discs are put into a small machine that applies foil, another small machine that laminates it, and another that adds a label and barcode. Visual inspection takes place at three different places along the assembly line. The work flow is steady throughout the entire shift.
ResponsibilitiesMechanical Assembly of the Disc using hands and simple tools to snap pieces in place.Perform visual inspection of products.Create Labels for the DISC device.Operate instruments to laminate and seal products.Aseptic Gowning (bunny suit) and follow SOPs for cleanroom.Essential SkillsVisual inspection of in-process materials.Operation of various manufacturing equipment.Strict adherence to SOPs.Ability to Gown aseptically (will be trained).Documentation of activities.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have at least 1-2 years of experience in high volume production (Assembly, machine operating, or packaging).Able to stand for the majority of the shift.High School Diploma is required.Clean Room experience is preferred, but not required.Medical device assembly or packaging experience is a HUGE PLUS, but not required.Experience working in FDA, GDP, and GMP environments.Familiarity with following SOPs and comfort with repetitive/detail-oriented work.Why Work Here?

The company manufactures a COVID PCR test and produces 1 million kits per month. Due to the rise in COVID cases, this project is indefinite until cases decrease.
Work Environment
The work environment is a cleanroom where you will be required to wear coveralls (bunny suit), booties, gloves, hair net, safety glasses, and face masks. You will be working within three feet of others on the line and may occasionally need to interact with coworkers at a closer distance.
