Shift Duty Manager

The incumbent will be the senior most officer in shift and exercise functional command and control over officers and staff in his shift, as well as across third party functional departments involved with physical airside operations. His command and control are to ensure compliance to: -

Ensure compliance checks and mitigation of issues likely to compromise safety in any area of airside by a constant vigil and proactive actions during his tenure of duty. Continuous inspection of and control over airside operations Following working instructions of operational procedures and policy decisions issued by NMIAL Quality & Safety Department Ensure compliance to Aerodrome Safety Regulations including Apron discipline, driving,     pedestrian movement and the wearing of reflective jackets. Serviceability of all vehicles and equipment on airside Cleanliness of movement area FOD control Oil/Fuel Spillage Sharing of critical information in his/her shift to Lead Airside Safety Reporting of incidents & accidents. Any other directive approved by NMIAL. Carry out OHS Hazard identification, risk assessment and Environmental Aspects Identification for the departmental activities. Prepare risk mitigation plans, based on the outcome of risk assessment. Impart training to all employees on the EHS risk mitigation measures. Monitor implementation of EHS risk mitigation measures during conduct of departmental activities. Ensure inspection of airside work sites for compliance to the conditions of PERCOW. Ensure that inspection of runway is carried out periodically.

Education Qualification
•    Graduation/Post Graduation
 

Experience
•    5-10 years of experience in airside operations within the aviation industry
