WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SHIFT LEAD:

FUNCTION: Operations
LOCATION: Winston-Salem, NC

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Responsible for managing various processes within the manufacturing environment that support the Company's vision and mission.Manage production associates and/or maintenance personnel to meet production requirements.Maintain a high level of employee engagement.Demonstrate good communication skills, be a resource for direct reports and exhibit leadership skills to maximize productivity, equipment utilization and overall efficiency.Ensuring the safety of employees and protecting company assets with generating safety improvement actions.Ensuring all Quality requirements are followed while conducting root cause analysis. Auditing manufacturing processes and requirements to ensure full compliance. Development of employees through training need assessment and coaching. Execution of change control activities pertaining to adjustments in ways of working and business goals. Team leadership or facilitation to support process improvement efforts.First point of contact for all Human Resource related topics. Develop performance objectives and manage reviews of employees. Expectation of possible flex shift of day or evening when needed.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

Associate degree in Technical or related field and relevant work experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent and basic skills in MS Office computer applications.2 – 3 years of experience leading teams.Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills with an ability to recommend continuous improvements initiatives.Ability to work independently or within project teams.Ability to manage production personnel in a manufacturing environment

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required include, but are not limited to:

Ability to communicate with and engage employees, retail customers, and consumers in person.Good problem-solving skills.Business acumen and analytical skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office - particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Highly results oriented.Understands customers’ business models, strategies, and plans.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications

Associate degree in Technical or related field and relevant work experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent and basic skills in MS Office computer applications.

BENEFICIAL

Experience in an FDA regulated work environment.Knowledge/experience with Integrated Work Systems.Manufacturing Process Control Systems
