Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to supervise shift team’s progress against work plans as defined by Production management to ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment, and assembly lines within a production area. Each day, you will provide regular feedback and make recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities, and possible critical situations. You will also showcase your expertise by cooperating with the unit supervisor to create an effective work environment and reinforcing production schedules and quality.This role belongs to Motion Drive Products based out at Peenya - Bangalore, India Work Model- #LI-OnsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:•\tAssists management and shift team in allocating,•\tcoordinating and overseeing shift orders and work plan. Execution within production lines during the shift.•\tProvides regular feedback and make recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line including production line organization.•\tHelp management implement staff allocation in case of vacations, illnesses, machine outages or shifting priorities.•\tServes as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and provide resolution to technical problems and logistics issues.•\tEnsures the shift operation follow health & safety.•\tIdentify deficiencies in production area and propose for improvement actions.•\tIdentify and recommend technical equipment, facility and provide improvements as necessary.•\tTrain the associates in the line/product. Plan for multi skill Operation. Train all the associates to•\tFollow the safety standards pertaining to the line/product

Qualifications for the role

\tDiploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering\t3 years of experience in the similar industry.\tGood Knowledge in production process.\tGood Knowledge in SAP.\tFlexible to work in rotational Shift\tHandling Production operators
