Shift Leader/ Shift Manager 7-11 (Morning)

Franchisees typically rely on Shift Leaders to provide outstanding service, oversee team members tasks during shifts, maintain a clean, customer friendly environment, stock and merchandise products, and operate the register.  Franchisees expect store employees to demonstrate reliability, honesty, and greet customers with a smile.

What might you do?

As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during your shiftOversee and coordinate team member's tasks during shiftsCheck in merchandise deliveries from vendors, organize and stock the main vault cooler, backstock and outside beer cooler inside the storeReceive and stock McLane truck deliveryProvide prompt, efficient and courteous customer serviceAssist and ensure quality standards are metDrive sales through effective communication with customersMaintain a clean, customer friendly environment in your franchisee’s storePerform cashier duties (ring sales and maintain cash control) Perform all regular cleaning activities, and other tasks included in your job assignmentsForecast, order and stock merchandise (with appropriate training)

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or catering industry or similar work experience in Convenience storesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situationsStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse teamWillingness to help team members and provide guidance as needed

Physical Requirements

While physical requirements for store employees may change depending on your franchisee, the position typically requires constant standing, bending, reaching, frequent lifting of 1-5 lbs, and occasional lifting of up to 40 -50 lbs.
