DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including the storage and dispatch of volume orders and goods.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nTo directly assist operational management by initiating, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and staff performance of your designated shift\nTo manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, monitoring stock movement and control, whilst ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and always maintaining standards of excellence\nResponsible for Health and Safety across the operation and driving a Safety First Culture, to ensure all staff are safe within the workplace at all times\nSupport a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nPrevious experience as a shift manager within an Ecommerce warehouse environment is essential\nExtensive stakeholder/ customer management experience\nBe a people centric leader who can be hands-on within the operation\nIT Literacy with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems. Experience using Red Prairie JDA would be beneficial\nExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills\n\n
