Days – 5 from 7, Rotating 06.00-14.00 / 14.00-22.00 due to operational requirements will need to be flexible and able to work nights when required.

Right now, we are looking for a Shift Operations Manager to join our Operations Team at our Fulfilment Centre in Stafford.
The Role
The Shift Operations Manager is accountable for all operational & daily aspects of the Distribution Centre including resourcing to meet demand, health & safety, ensuring the operation consistently achieves the requirements of the business in terms of quality, productivity and KPI’s. The Shift operations Manager is responsible for all operational and site aspects of a Distribution Centre, including creating a great working environment, building a superb culture, controlling costs for a functional area and leading the FLM’s and colleagues alike in a common and consistent direction. The aim to make the Stafford Fulfilment Centre a ‘best in class site’ and the employer of choice in the area.
Your Responsibilities
Accountability for all operational & daily aspects of the SFC including resourcing to meet demand, health & safety, ensuring the operation consistently achieves the requirements of the business in terms of quality, productivity and KPI’s.Lead FLM’s and colleagues alike in a common and consistent direction to achieve operational SLA’s.Create resolute team working and a consistent environment across all teams within Pets including all key stakeholders across Support Office, Transport, and with equivalent role holders to improve cross-site consistency and site performance.Demonstrate the PAH values and behaviours and is a role model leader, is approachable and committed to the enhancing the colleague experience.Deliver all people processes within service level agreements, coach, and support Managers in their capability to motivate others through quarterly 1:1’s, observations, and annual engagement survey.Lead continuous improvement, generate innovative ideas, share best practice, and work as one team across the site.Accountable for driving performance against costs/ budget across the shift and your individual department.Who are we looking for?
SFC is a multi-channel operation supplying both Retail stores and E-Commerce. Experience in both areas is essential.Previous leadership experience or similar in a large FMCG distribution environment (670,000 sq. ft) responsible for large teams more than 700 colleagues.Brings a cheerful outlook and is capable of motivating others through briefings and one-to-one meetings.Knowledge and experience of warehouse management systems, mechanical handling equipment and automation is essential.Forward-thinking with a customer centric focus and attention to detail.Creative and resourceful under pressure.Experience of an automated site start up is desirable.What you will get in return
