**POSITION PROFILE** Assists Shift Manager in ensuring copy jobs are completed according to company quality standards, client job specifications, and order deadlines at the lowest possible production cost for the shift. Effectively supervises assigned personnel, equipment operation, and workflow. **JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Achieves customer satisfaction by meeting labor commitment goals and exceeding Focus Four percentages for the shift. + Prepares, photocopies, inspects, compiles, assembles, and binds documents as necessary. + Ensures quality operations for the shift by achieving appropriate percentages on Best Practices Audit and Deadline Compliance on MIS Sales Analysis. + Increases productivity by making supplies and the work area easily accessible and maintaining a clean, well-organized production center throughout the shift. + Ensures customer satisfaction according to company standards of quality and output. + Educates the production team on proper safety procedures and programs to ensure employee safety. + Manages the development of production employees through training, coaching, and counseling. + Maintains a positive internal working relationship with the Sales Department. + Ensures payroll accuracy by overseeing and correcting all time clock punches. + Performs other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)** + 1 - 5 years of related experience in Production. + Bachelor's degree in a related business field or equivalent work experience. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES** + Experience in delivering classroom and informal training sessions. + Ability to set goals by defining and prioritizing specific, realistic objectives. + Proficient in using standard business software applications on a personal computer. + Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly in both positive and negative circumstances. + Ability to motivate individuals and groups by creating a positive work environment, providing quality training, and mentoring. + Strong mathematical skills for business operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of all units of measurement. **WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS** + Handles demand of time by working normal working hours but also being on call 24 hours via pager. + Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays, depending on work volume to satisfy account needs. + Adapts to moderate to high noise levels in a production facility. + Copes with moderate stress levels by adapting to and handling stressful situations positively. + The position often requires standing and walking. + May need to lift and move supplies weighing up to 50 lbs, from the floor to waist height, carry them 10 feet, and lower them back to the floor to handle customer orders. + Must be able to stand on feet for at least four hours per day while using a copy machine.
