GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Ship Installation Lead.
Position Responsibilities:
Reviewing ships drawings and conducting ship visits for the planning, development and execution of Alteration Development. Developing, updating and maintaining Ship Alteration (SHIPALT), Temporary Alteration (TEMPALT), Non-Permanent Change (NPC) and Operational Alteration (OPALT) documentation. Developing, updating, and maintaining installation & checkout test plans and procedures, which include scheduling, equipment staging, installation plans, checkout procedures, training, and installation test plans; Installing and checkout test hardware, software, and firmware at shipyards, generating an installation and checkout report upon completion, on maritime test vessels, submarines, aviation platforms, surface ship naval platforms, at trainer sites, at System Maintenance Facilities, and at Combat System Integration Sites (CSIS); Assessing installed equipment against approved installation drawings, alteration documents, and alteration schematics, and verifying that the system is operating as defined in the system technical manuals, generating an installation and checkout report to document the findings.Position Requirements:
