As a Ship/Rec Specialist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for handling the shipping and receiving operations at our Palmetto, FL location within the Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business unit.
\nYou will report directly to our Shipping and Receiving Manager and work on-site at our Palmetto, FL facility.
\nIn this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products in and out of the facility. Your attention to detail and adherence to shipping and receiving procedures will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nReceive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents\nInspect and document any damages or discrepancies in received items\nPrepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation\nCoordinate with carriers and schedule pickups and deliveries\nMaintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts\nCollaborate with internal teams to resolve any shipping or receiving issues\nAdhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL
