Shipper

 

Position Summary

OPEX Corporation is looking for a Shipper to work at our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. We are looking for a worker who can commit to a full-time schedule during our Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM shift and occasional Saturday half day shifts. The worker will be responsible for shipping both domestic and international, parcel and freight shipments.

 

Responsibilities:

Create and manage documentation to ensure a timely delivery of shipments, including international shipments Keeps records of all shipping and receiving materials Ensures proper packaging and shipping procedures are being followed Verifies accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipments Pick parts orders for Customer and Technician shipments Complete orders in inventory/enterprise system (Oracle) and pack shipments Replenish Material Handling machine with inventory when needed Other responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications:

Prior shipping/receiving experience Experience with UPS software systems is required Previous Oracle experience is strongly preferred Previous experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment strongly preferred Basic computer skills required Ability to interact via telephone with co-workers and field technicians

 

Physical/Work Environments

Worker will be working in a warehouse environment Ability to maneuver a job site, including small spaces in around our equipment Worker must be able to lift 50 pounds Worker must be able to stand throughout duration of their shift Squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward will occur on the job Employee may be required to work overtime (extended shift or weekends) as a result of high demand
