Adecco is proud to partner with a top-tier client to fill a temp-to-hire **Shipper/Packer** position in **Elkhorn,** **WI** ! **1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm (M-F)** **Pay: $17/hr** **Essential Responsibilities** + Obtains and sorts printed product. + Verifies quantity to be packed from customer order. + Selects proper size carton for packaging finished goods. + Operates and maintains packaging equipment necessary to pack merchandise. + Wraps protective material around product. + Weighs cartons and skids, labels containers and skids, and delivers finished goods to shipping department. + Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process. + Records information such as weight, time, date packaged, and carrier. + Assembles shipping crates if necessary. + Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) + Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. + Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
