What You'll Do: 

As a Shipper/Receiver, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation by complying with the RCMS, ISO 9001 and all standard operating procedures. Responsibilities will include shipping, labeling, packaging, and receiving raw materials and finished goods to meet customer demand daily. Reports to the Shipping/ Receiving Supervisor. Liaison with the logistics, production, and supply chain groups to plan and complete inbound deliveries and outbound shipments. 

 

What We're Looking For:

Understand and comply with all applicable internal Lubrizol and external health, safety, security, and environmental policies Ability to perform physical labor (drum, pail and bag, material handling) Safely perform operating tasks using a variety of chemical processing equipment Follow established procedures to manufacture product Interpret data from process instrumentation Complete and maintain comprehensive records and production logs Organize work to meet multiple tasks Maintain housekeeping at excellent levels.                   Ability to safely operate forklift in Plant environment. Utilize the SAP system to review and process inbound receipts and outbound shipments in a timely order (same day as delivery or shipment occurs). Plan and prepare goods for shipment using the Delivery Due list. Staging the outbound/inbound shipments following instructions on the sales order / pick lists.  Provide the shipment documents (BOL, COA, Packing Slip, MSDS, Invoice – if requested) to carrier Complete inbound receipts for raw material deliveries, returned finished goods and stock transfers. Use the Open POs report and Stock Transfer report to plan for inbound deliveries.  Receive materials against purchase order, record quantity and location Receive returned products, stage in quarantine area for disposition review and approval. Record issues as a SCAR entry in SAP of issues associated with the items, i.e., damaged, late, etc. Ability for loading overseas containers with knowledge of different loading patterns. 

 

Skills That Make a Difference: 

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited school. Basic math and reading skill Good computer skills Ability to read and interpret work instructions.  Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.  Considered a plus: Previous forklift experience/Scissor lift operation Knowledge of chemistry and chemical hazards Knowledge of business and chemistry Ability to work independently (self-starter) Knowledge of pumping operations, tank operations, and filtration equipment Previous experience in a team-based work environment.

 

Working Conditions:

Requires use of appropriate PPE, Personal Protective Equipment, to fulfill safety requirements. Physically able to move drums weighing up to 450 lbs. with proper equipment. Ability to lift 70 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods Comfortable working at moderate heights (ladders, lift, scaffolding & mezzanine areas) Willing to work overtime, if needed. Willing to work evenings and weekends if needed.
