**Job Title: Shipper & Receiver** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipper & Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in material handling, computer literacy, and general warehouse operations. This role involves preparing outgoing shipments, transacting customer orders, and coordinating with the Customer Service team to ensure accurate and timely completion of shipping documents. **Responsibilities** + Transact customer orders using both carrier and ERP systems. + Provide quality control inspections within the workflow. + Package and tape international shipments in multi-pack cartons for export. + Affix shipping labels on packed cartons. + Take an accurate inventory count at the end of each day. + Serve as a back-up order picker as needed. + Assemble cardboard cartons for large, multipack shipments. + Move prepared shipments from shipping cart to dock door as needed. + Call and/or email forwarding companies to arrange pick-up. + Consign shipments to forwarders and ensure correct shipments are consigned by checking documents carefully. + Maintain good communication and rapport with co-workers. + Ensure the shipping area is kept organized and neat. + Keep the supervisor informed of issues on the shipping floor. + Other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Material handling experience. + Computer literacy. + General warehouse experience. + Shipping and receiving knowledge. + Forklift operation. + Order picking and packing experience. + Proficiency in using RF scanners. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Problem-solving abilities. + Demonstrated ability to learn new software and applications. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. + Forklift certification (or ability to get certified). **Why Work Here?** Our facility offers a state-of-the-art environment, including a full kitchen, game area (pool & ping pong tables), TV lounge, small library, and a full gym. You will use material handling equipment to stage orders for shipment. The position is available in both day and swing shifts at our Hunziker and Cascade locations. Day Shift hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, and Swing Shift hours are Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 10:00pm at the Hunziker location. At the Cascade location, Day Shift hours are Monday to Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm, and Swing Shift hours are Monday to Thursday from 3:15pm to 1:45am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
