Our Environment:
Protenergy Natural Foods maintains a 24 hour 7 days per week continental shift rotational environment. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7am to 7:30pm (days) or 7:00pm to 7:30am (nights). We maintain a 2-3 rotation, where in fourteen calendar days you will work a total of seven where every other weekend is a long weekend
Position Summary:
Protenergy Natural Foods Corp, a fully integrated manufacturer of natural food and beverage products has an immediate opening for a Shipper & Receiver position at its Richmond Hill facility. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position requires the incumbent to work 12 hours’ continental shifts with the flexibility to work on either day and night shifts.

License: Counterbalance, Bendi
Must have experience with PIV equipment
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materialsMaintain accountability for the safe and efficient operation of the forkliftInspect forklifts on a daily basis and report changes or concerns to the Production Team LeaderUnloading inbound shipments safely and moving product to storage locationsEfficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areasEnsuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; reporting quality variances where applicableKeeping appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.Assisting in physical inventoriesEnsuring proper stock rotationCreate Bill of Lading as requiredInspect trailers, raw materials and finished goods for defective products and/or ingredientsCollaborate with external warehouses to organize product returns and inbound transfersParticipate in shift changeover meetings as requiredResponsible for maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work areaEnsure that operations are conducted in a manner that promotes safetyComply with OSHA and MSDS StandardsMinimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience requiredCompletion of a forklift training certificate1 year of experience on a counterbalance forklift3-5 years manufacturing related experienceCompletion of WHMIS, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods is an assetAble to work in a fast-paced environment and meet rotation deadlines.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of good manufacturing practicesFluency in English both oral and writte
