Shipper Support (RGM) Opening in Tempe!! Job Description On a day-to-day basis, you will act as a Remote Gate Agent supporting thousands of drivers across the country using two-way audio/video communication. Your role will involve verifying and identifying necessary specifications on trucks and processes, while coordinating, communicating, and providing updates on a daily basis to all parties involved in the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers. We seek candidates who are extremely detail-oriented, can work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency, and are quick learners and technically savvy. Responsibilities + Support thousands of drivers across the country using two-way audio/video communication. + Verify and identify necessary specifications on trucks and processes. + Coordinate, communicate, and provide updates to all parties involved in the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at warehouses, facilities, and distribution centers. + Handle all gate operations, allowing onsite associates to focus on daily operations. + Communicate clearly with approximately 200 drivers per day. Essential Skills + Customer service experience + Proficiency in Microsoft Office + Strong phone etiquette + Great customer skills and awareness + Tech-savvy with experience in logistics, intermodal, supply chain, call center + Excellent communication and people skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1+ year of high-volume (Call Center) customer support experience + Strong job tenure required + Experience in retail customer service from companies such as SBUX or the restaurant industry + Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and strong problem-solving skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and keyboard shortcuts + Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously + Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment Work Environment Training is in person/on-site for 3 weeks (Monday to Friday), 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. After training, the production role will have a schedule of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturday - Wednesday. The office location is 8600 South Science Drive, Tempe, AZ. You must be open to working 5 days a week, including weekends, with the current team working 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 6 days per week for mandatory extra time. Onsite work is required 5 days per week with no option for work-from-home or hybrid arrangements. Overtime will be necessary from October through January. You must be open to working on holidays. Shift patterns will include Thursday to Monday, Friday to Tuesday, Saturday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Sunday, or Monday to Friday (Monday to Friday shifts may be very limited, so candidates must be flexible to work both weekend days). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
