Location: Neenah, WI
Wage: $17hr
Hours: 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday/Friday 6am to 3:30pm (Hours vary, must be flexible)
*Possible overtime on Saturdays during busy season.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the laying material on a cutting table and cutting to desired configuration in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner. Move to other areas when assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Use product matrix to determine raw material and size requirements Identify and transport raw materials from storage area to production areas Position single and multiple layers of material on cutting table, spread to desired length, and cut from roll Using template, mark top cover with length, width, and all other required notches and corners Using power knife or blade, cut single or multiple layers at one time to size Identify noticeable issues in the fabric, such as splices, that would impact production Maintain an accurate count of pieces cut each day and total on the sheet Assist in maintaining cleanliness of production areas Adhere to and maintain all quality requirements and standards Notify maintenance when machinery breaks down Management reserves the right to add or modify the duties and/or responsibilities of the operation Must be willing to cross train and move within department to maintain production

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to work with others as part of a team Continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting required for 8 hours or longer Must be able to lift 50 to 70 pounds and have manual dexterity and strength to use all cutting equipment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required Basic decision making and problem-solving skills required Basic reading and math skills required
