Shipping Administrator

As the Shipping Administrator you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Shipping process to support the local iCenter and Distribution objectives for quality, on-time delivery, cost and flexibility. We look forward to seeing your application!  
 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Timely and accurate completion of EU, NON EU and domestic Shipments inside and outside of the EU, in accordance with EU, US, UN and Local Law. Liaison with the Carrier / Freight Forwarders and Crating company to schedule collections, deliveries, expedite, tracking and tracing of the Cluj Shipments (Inbound & Outbound). Review and process Trax/ TSE Compliance failures in a timely manner. Act as a point of contact for investigating and resolving Logistics & Compliance related challenges and escalations received from external and internal Customers.  Timely processing of the Logistics and Compliance related administration functions in adherence with the procedures set out in the QMS. To include self auditing, filing/ archiving of records Reporting of key measures i.e. Service provider on time delivery and quality.  Maintain databases and shipping reports. Contribute to the development and implementation of the Logistics and Compliance Procedures. Identify improvement initiatives, to reduce costs  and cycle times.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent 1-2 years experience in Import/ Export activities, including Logistics and Trade Compliance function Good English communication skills  Experience with Romanian Import, Export (including Intra EU movements) Rules & Regulations Good knowledge about IATA Rules & Regulations pertaining to dangerous goods

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:  

Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office  Knowledge of: Oracle system is helpful (and ideally Trax and Trade Sphere) Familiar with AEO (Authorised Economic Operator)
