**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist** **Job Description** The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for receiving all incoming raw goods and materials, verifying purchase orders, and placing items into inventory. This role includes kitting materials based on bills of materials (BOMs) and moving materials to production lines as needed. The Specialist will maintain order in stocking component parts, pulling parts for jobs, ensuring traceability by identifying received parts with appropriate means, and completing cycle counts. **Responsibilities** + Receive and verify all incoming raw goods and materials. + Check off purchase orders and place items into inventory. + Kit materials for jobs based on BOMs and move materials to production lines as needed. + Maintain order in stocking component parts and pulling parts for jobs. + Ensure traceability by identifying received parts with appropriate means. + Complete cycle counts regularly. + Utilize systems such as Filemaker, VLM, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. **Essential Skills** + Experience in material handling, inventory management, picking, kitting, forklift operation, and shipping & receiving. + 6 months of shipping/receiving experience. + Must have 3 months of mechanical assembly experience or an understanding of how to work with hand tools (e.g., hammer, nails, wrench). + Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally. + Effective communication skills, both oral and written. + Must have steel-toed boots. + Willingness to ask questions when unsure about tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with systems such as Filemaker, VLM, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. **Why Work Here?** Commitment to Excellence: The company is dedicated to delivering innovative products and exceptional service, reflecting their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
