Job Description
We are a growing wholesale distributor working closely with architects and designers to supply high-end surfaces like flooring and countertops. This is a temp-to-perm position. The role is full-time, from 9 AM to 6 PM, based in Manhattan, with occasional visits to our Brooklyn office.
ResponsibilitiesReceive, label, organize, and track inventory of samples.Handle outgoing sample requests and communications with architects and designers, ensuring timely and professional service.Provide regular updates to management on sample department operations and resolve any issues with logistics or inventory.Essential SkillsStrong organizational skills and experience in inventory management or warehousing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence with architects and designers.Ability to work independently and establish systems that improve efficiency.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email management.Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds for handling samples.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with inventory control and document control.Skills in picking, order selection, quality assurance, material handling, warehouse packing, and supply chain management.Familiarity with using RF scan guns.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
