**Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a dynamic and fast-paced individual to join our shipping/receiving department. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking abilities, and leadership experience. This role involves working closely with other team members to achieve departmental goals and assisting with receiving duties. **Responsibilities** + Utilize a warehouse management system for daily planning and shipments. + Communicate with the scheduling department to arrange trucks for pickups. + Perform custom packaging for large, curved outgoing shipments. + Cut boards to custom length to support and reinforce loads. + Use tools such as pneumatic bander, screw gun, hammer, and tape measure. + Conduct material shipping and receiving duties, including data entry and inventory management. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation + Shipping and receiving experience + Mechanical assembly + Data entry skills + Mechanical aptitude + Leadership skills + Computer experience + Inventory management + Order selection + Ability to read and use a tape measure + Ability to lift 40-60lbs regularly + 3-4 years of shipping experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Leadership and training experience + Good problem-solving skills + Creative thinking abilities **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive and family-oriented work environment with numerous benefits, including boot reimbursement up to $150, Bluetooth headphones, stock options, and competitive medical and dental plans.
