**Aerotek is hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk!** **Location: Farmington, NY** **Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hr** **Job Description** As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for discrepancies and damage, and reporting problems promptly. **Responsibilities** + Store materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number and description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and stacking by hand or using material handling equipment. + Load and unload delivery vehicles, operate fork trucks, lift and carry merchandise, and stock items in appropriate areas throughout the warehouse. + Verify quantities of deliveries and merchandise serial numbers by comparing merchandise to packing slips. + Complete customer orders by obtaining appropriate material from storage in accordance with picking tickets. + Prepare shipments by boxing materials, labeling with appropriate shipping information, and completing the necessary paperwork. **Essential Skills** + Experience in inventory, shipping, and receiving. + Proficiency in inventory control and order selection. + Skills in picking, packing, kitting, and packaging. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a climate-controlled and clean facility.
