**APPLY TO START THE JOP ASAP** **Job Title: Shipping Manager** **Job Description** Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Shipping Manager is responsible for the shipment of products to customers both internationally and domestically. The Shipping Manager ensures the accuracy of shipments, on-time delivery, compliance with all documented service requirements, and effective inventory management. Additionally, the Shipping Manager ensures that the Operations staff meet or exceed customer service delivery commitments. **Responsibilities** + Ensure the accuracy and on-time delivery of shipments. + Manage inventory and ensure proper inventory control. + Use software to track, check, prioritize, and route orders. + Prepare and manage all important shipping documents such as advanced shipping notices (ASN), pick slips, bills of lading, etc. + Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment. + Inspect labels, barcodes, and other features of completed orders. + Supervise and lead subordinates, including receiving clerks and order pickers. + Control the budget of the shipping department. + Collaborate with managers to optimize processes. + Resolve issues regarding shipped orders. + Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies. + Report to management on activities and issues. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience as a shipping manager. + Solid knowledge of logistics procedures. + Experience in using EDI and preparing shipping documents (e.g., ASN). + Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. + Good understanding of budgeting and reporting. + Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates. + Excellent organizational and communication skills. + Attention to detail. + Problem-solving abilities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with ERP systems. + Experience in warehouse management. + Experience in inventory management. + Experience in supervision and logistics. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions are valued, and you have the opportunity to optimize processes and lead a dedicated team.
