JOB SUMMARY
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing shipments in the yard. To ensure the accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, supplies, and products. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor all zero or partial POs not received in the district.• Receive Shipments: Unload incoming shipments, inspect for accuracy, and damage, and verify packing slips, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Shipping Preparation: Prepare items for shipping, including packing, labeling, and documenting shipments. Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries.
• Inventory Management: Update inventory records and ensure proper stock levels are maintained. Accurately document incoming and outgoing shipments in the system.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and quantity, ensuring that all orders are accurate and meet company standards.
• Acquire receiving documents for all POs not received past the promise date.
• Work with individual who physically received the goods/service to acquire receiving documentation
• Coordinate with each Rig Manager to ensure that all receiving documents originating from the rig site are signed by the employee physically receiving the goods/service
• Ensure that all receiving documents originating at the yard site are regularly and promptly delivered and/or transmitted to the office of the Receiving Clerk.
• Electronically attach documents to the goods receipt (GR) when creating a receipt and physical receiving document must be kept on file as per Nabors’ record retention policy
• Forward signed re-billable invoices to the NDUSA Billing Group
• Coordinate and align with Nabors’ Buyer when a short-close is required
