Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Our shipping and receiving coordinator works with our internal teams and external vendors to ensure our packages are delivered to our cafes and to our guests accurately. 
This is a full-time, hourly position. You will be a critical member of the production department, a team united by the basic love of producing great coffee. 
The schedule is: Monday -Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. 
You will:Communicate among Blue Bottle facilities and coordinate with internal delivery teams and third party shipping and delivery vendors  Create, manage and receive delivery schedule to be shared with all departments and external vendorsUse Netsuite and other systems to verify all inbound items are accurate and match the Purchase Order providedPromptly notify internal departments of delivery arrivalsPartner with regional managers and teammates to ensure accurate and timely delivery to each cafe or Blue Bottle facilityKeep the shipping and receiving space clean, tidy and well stocked with shipping suppliesWork with purchasers and finance teams when orders or pricing are inaccurateMaintain and be responsible for all outbound items and provide proper paperwork to each department and in NetsuiteUnpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages and communicate with shipper to rectify damages and shortagesStock and organize received materials within the facility, making them accessible to our production team.Monitor and maintain inventory levels of production materials, updating inventory reorder points and reorder quantities as neededReceive and process returns sent to our West Sacramento facility Prepare shipments for our customers and cafesSign-off on all delivery accuracyBe ready and willing to assist our facility teams with shipping coordinationCharge the forklift, schedule all preventative maintenance and ensure safe forklift operation.Follow and support all Food Safety, Quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices rules and regulationsYou are:A team player who thrives when working with teammates and excels when focused on independent tasksCrystal clear in your communicationThe consummate professional, always engaging in hospitality toward all team members and guestsAn excellent organizer who continuously tweaks systems toward efficient ease of useYou have:A love and respect of delicious food, coffee and pastriesProduction experienceExperience and comfort working with computers and softwareThe ability to read, write and speak English proficientlyPhysical requirements:The following is a list of the physical activity, requirements, and environmental factors related to this role.
