**Ink Manufacturing Company Urgently hiring shipping and receiving clerk in Carlstadt, NJ** **_Career Opportunity, please apply and can be set up with an interview within the same week of applying and start the following week!_** **Location:** Carlstadt, NJ **Position:** Shipping and Receiving Clerk **Shift:** 7:00am—3:30pm (Monday-Friday) **Pay:** $19-$21/hour ; Overtime: $30-$36/hour **Description** ● Responsible for accurately generating required shipping and receiving documents. ● Receive and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment. ● Process return shipments from customers. ● Assure accurate inventory counts and inventory balance information is maintained. ● Sorts, counts, packages, labels, unpack, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received. ● Inspects shipments for damages or defects and records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel. **The Ideal Candidate Will:** · Physically pick and pack all customer orders in a fast paced environment, meeting or exceeding customer expectations · Assist in cycle counting when necessary · Move materials using pallet jacks and by hand, up to 50 lbs · Have a strong attention to detail · Have good computer skills and be open to learning new systems · Be a vocal leader, not afraid to make suggestions for improvement · Work well in a professional, service driven department · Be flexible with new workflows and change management; live the concept of continuous improvement · Be able to take instruction in written and spoken English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus · Be comfortable operating light equipment for material movement **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
