The Shipping and Receiving Lead is a full time position working 1st shift hours (7AM-3PM). This position reports to the Plant Manager and must be able to work out of the Naples, FL facility. This is a physical role and will require the employee to use proper lifting techniques to maintain safety.
This role is responsible for the day-to day receipt and transfer of materials and equipment in and out of the warehouse. Focuses on team completion of assignments and routines. Manages the daily activity and workload of the shipping and receiving clerks.
Primary Responsibilities:
Must organize orders required for shipment.
Must be able to organize the area to help future shipments.
Maintain and return deposit pallets, boxes, and reels.
Assist in maintaining the receiving area’s cleanliness and organization.
Assist in returning material to the stockroom.
Assist in pulling required material for the plant.
Assist in the movement of material throughout the plant.
Scrap (departmental and bleed); collect and document scrap material.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a shipping or receiving role.
Ability to maintain inventory .
Understanding of production procedures.
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear),.
Attention to detail.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Physical stamina and strength, such as lifting heavy materials (50 lbs).
