**Description** **Position Title: Shipping and Receiving/Material Handler** **Department: Manufacturing** **Division: AGI Nobleford** **Location: Nobleford, AB, Canada** **About AGI** AGI is a global company publicly traded in Canada, and we are expanding! We currently have over 100 employees operating out of 200,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Nobleford, Alberta ( **approx. 20 mins north of Lethbridge** ) and will be adding multiple positions as part of our expansion. We manufacture Westeel petroleum storage tanks and are Canada’s largest manufacturer of grain aeration and natural air grain drying equipment. **The Opportunity** We are actively seeking multiple **Shipping and Receiving/Material Handlers** to join our manufacturing team within our facility in **Nobleford, Alberta** (approx. 20 mins north of Lethbridge). **The Team** The role will report to the Production Supervisor. **Responsibilities** + Operate Forklift equipment to load vans, trailers, flat decks and sea cans + Package and stage material in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments + Ensure accuracy of shipments (part types & quantity) + Read and interpret job orders and shipping orders + Preparing pertinent documentation for shipment of goods + Ensure warehouse and shipping areas are clean and free from obstacles + Report any damages to product prior to loading + Other duties as assigned **Qualification** + 1 – 2 years experience with material handling or shipping/receiving an asset + Ability to work in fluctuating weather conditions, as needed + Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize + Attention to detail and accuracy + Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work both inside and outside + Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction) + Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language + Strong work ethic and drive + Exceptional attention to detail **What We Offer** + Health, Dental Benefits and Life Insurance + RRSP with up to 5% company match + DPSP and Employee Stock Purchase Plan + Competitive compensation + Employee Bonus Program + On the job training and advancement opportunities + Apprenticeship reimbursement program + Support with obtaining CWB certifications + Safety Gear Reimbursement, including PAPR program + Great company and team culture + Short/Long term disability + Shift timings: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM _AGI is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
