As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play\na crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and delivery of goods within\nour supply chain and distribution network. You will be responsible for managing\nlogistics operations, coordinating transportation methods, optimizing shipping\nprocesses, and maintaining accurate inventory records. In this role, you will:
- Oversee the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate\ndelivery of goods
- Coordinate transportation methods and negotiate contracts with carriers to\nsecure favorable terms and conditions
- Optimize shipping processes to minimize lead times and reduce transportation\ncosts
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to\nensure inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and\non-time deliveries
- Implement data-driven strategies to optimize logistics operations and adapt\nto market demands
