Job Description

Position Summary:

The Shipping Associate-I ensures customer delight in a cross-functional support role within the shipping department.  This role is expected to receive valves into the shipping area, pack, close and ship customer orders. The shift is from 8.00- 4.00 p.m but we can be flexible for a later start inbetween 9.00- 10.00 a.m.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $18.00/hour

Receive valves from assembly accuratelyCollect all material for Manifold AssemblyVerify material against BOMMatch MO’s for kit ordersAssemble boxesMonitor the accuracy and timeliness of material being packed and shipped to our customersCoordinate shipping documentsEnsure Product is properly packed and organized per written and verbal instructions for accurate, and safe deliveryLabel shipments of products using marking toolsRecord product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and recordsMeasure, weigh, and count products and materialsExamine and inspect shipment, materials, and products to verify packing specifications are metPrep orders for PackersOther duties and responsibilities as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment:

Majority of the work time is pent in manufacturing environment where temperures are often warm or cool, depending on the season, and noise level can be moderate to highPPE required as determined by company standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes
