Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies

Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and stock levels for lab consumables, outbound shipping kits, kitchens, bathrooms, office supplies. Ensure warehouse space is organized

Physical Handling: 

Physically handle products, load/unload packages, and transport products using hand carts or pallet jacks.Prepare, pack, and ship supplies to be sent to customers resultant from daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual orders as requested by customers, CES, Sales, and per LIMS schedulesEnsure that UPS Deliveries are prepared for afternoon pick up

Data Entry: Accurately enter shipment information into the LIMS system

Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse personnel, customer service representatives

Driving: Drive to UPS, FedEx, and USPS locations to pick up samples

Lifting: Able to lift and move heavy objects

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required knowledge, skills & abilities:

Basic computer skillsGood written and verbal communication, strong sense of time organization, ability to work independently and within a team, data entry skills with attention to detail.Strong organizational skillsMust be able to work independently and remain on taskBeing a collaborative team member

Training: Will be provided

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience in Shipping and Receiving preferred
