Shipping Associate

Our client is seeking a Shipping Associate to join their team. As a Shipping Associate you will be part of the operations department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Shipping Associate
**Location: Carlsbad, CA**
**What's the Job?**
+ Safely perform daily loading of shipments and packaging finished goods with minimum supervision.
+ Review logistics paperwork, bill of ladings, and interpret data to identify and address abnormal conditions.
+ Communicate effectively with other departments and personnel in a professional manner.
+ Participate in safety audits/reviews and contribute to developing solutions to safety hazards.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School diploma or GED.
+ Preferred 1-3 years of experience in shipping, particularly with hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
+ Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems and safety protocols.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft productivity software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Ability to multitask while adhering to safety and quality requirements.
