**Shipping and Receiving Clerk | 1st Shift, $20hr** **Job Description** Shipping & Receiving is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of materials and packages to and from multiple operations throughout the facilities, for maintaining orderly work environment including both inside and outside of the facilities. In addition, this position is responsible for helping the Scheduler or Supervisor manage the coordination of incoming or finished goods deliveries. **Responsibilities** + **Shipping:** + Ensures that products, parts, or supplies are shipped in a safe and efficient manner. + Loads bulk trailers with resin, and van trailers with finished boxes, according to the shipping schedule. + Loads van trailers and containers with by-products on a weekly basis. + Monitors scale read-outs for inaccuracies and alert Shipping & Receiving Supervisor as needed. + Monitors performance of bulk loading system and report any discrepancies to Shipping & Receiving Supervisor. + **Receiving:** + Receives and stores incoming loads. Validates Bill of Lading quantities to purchase order. + Unloads vans, containers, railcars, and bulk trailers as required per Picking List or Bill of Lading. + Validates Bill of Lading quantities to purchase order and communicate with Shipping & Receiving Supervisor all discrepancies. + Instructing drivers on where and how to move their tractors. + Ensures that products, parts, or supplies are received in a safe and efficient manner. + Records and tracks the location of materials through inventory movement. + Communicates and works with QC department on non-certified load + Properly handles chemical and oil deliveries if needed. + Maintains good housekeeping on the Shipping & Receiving docks, warehouse where materials are stored, including grounds keeping/lawncare around the Shipping & Receiving area, and around and in between silos. **Essential Skills** · At least 1 year of shipping and receiving or relevant experience. · Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to work constructively with other departments. **Why Work Here?** Join our team to be part of a pioneering effort in our new $49 million expansion. The end users of our products include notable companies. While some areas of the old facility can be dusty and noisy, we provide safety sleeves and shirts if needed. The work schedule is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with a temp-to-hire arrangement over a 4-month contract period. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bowling Green, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
