**HIRING!!!!!! 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT - $18.50/HR - Shipping Clerk** **Job Description** This position is responsible for properly weighing, labeling, and packaging manufactured products for shipment to customers. The Shipping Associate is also responsible for shipping packages and documents using the SAP system. **Responsibilities** + Process orders on customer portal + Direct contact with customer service and customers + Inspect products (visual and dimensional) + Weigh and count finished goods + Bag products and seal packages + Label products and place them in returnable containers + Ship finished goods on a specified schedule + Perform SAP shipping transactions using barcode system and manual data entry + Maintain adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices + Understand and implement the health and safety policy and integrate health and safety considerations into daily work activities + Perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization **Essential Skills** + Basic packaging, labeling, and warehouse experience + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a must + Eager and positive attitude + Willingness to get into manufacturing and stay with the company long-term **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Motivated individuals with a willingness to learn and work hard + English is not required; open to all cultural backgrounds **Why Work Here?** Employees receive a pay increase even before training is over, with a $1/hr raise if training on the 1st shift and 2nd shift is their primary shift. The facility is lean six sigma and extremely organized, with designated places for everything from products to office supplies. The machines can get pretty hot, but AC units are working at all times to ensure the facility remains comfortable. This is an ITAR facility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
