Shipping Clerk

This role is responsible for checking in drivers, accurately maintaining paperwork, and communicating with trucking companies and clients.

What You Will Do:

Complete all ship/confirm transactions into SAP in a timely mannerUtilize online resources for receiving palletsCommunicate with carriers to coordinate loads for internal/external customers, respond to requests for shipment tracking, and relay any delaysPGI completed ship orders, printing BOL’s, invoices, and other shipping documents as necessaryEnter all receiving transactions into SAP in an accurate and timely manner  Compile data for management analysis on an as needed basisAssist in resolving inventory discrepancies via research in SAPMaintain files for shipping and receiving daily.  Prepare necessary backorder and/or other communications to internal and external customers on an as needed basis (order status, timing, etc.).Pull, Audit, and/or receive orders as necessary as directed by Shift Leaders.

Position Details:

Plant location: High Point, NCWeekend shift: Fri-Sun 6AM - 6PM or Fri-Sun 6PM - 6AMWeekday shift: Mon-Fri 6AM -2:30PMCompensation: $23 / hour

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED2 years experience in shipping , receiving, or inventory control1 year stand up forklift operating experience1 year experience with warehouse management softwareNo immigration sponsorship offered for this role 

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift/carry 50lbsMust be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with SAPExcellent communication and time management skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a team
