The main purpose of the Shipping Clerk is to pack orders and to prepare boxes for shipments and assist in organizing the warehouse.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm
Starting salary: $19.25/hr

Responsabilities & duties:

Pick/Pack Orders

Verify the products against sale orders before packing Pick/Pack all regular, wholesalers’ orders and BC transfers Pick/Pack the dangerous goods and refrigerate products

Ship Packages

Enter invoice information into UPS/Fedex software Inspect package, make sure all information is correct Follow proper shipping procedure for Hazardous Materials

Invoice Orders

Change status and tracking number of shipped packages in Syspro

Miscellaneous Tasks

Clean the shelves and bottles Assist in the organization of warehouse; place chemicals, devices, materials, etc. Perform physical inventory for shipping packaging materials

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required. Minimum one (1) year experience in shipping. Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environment is an asset. Forklift certified is considered an asset. Knowledge of packing/handling dangerous goods is considered an asset. Knowledge using hand held scanners an asset. Attention to detail is necessary. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. A positive attitude with the ability to work in a team. Excellent communication skills in French (oral & written) required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required; Syspro is an asset.
