Pay: $21 per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our team. This role involves a mix of clerical and warehouse tasks, with a focus on ensuring smooth shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-moving consumer goods and be comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with drivers and coordinate shipments.Create Bills of Lading (BOLs).Collaborate with various teams, including management and hourly staff.Perform clerical duties related to shipping.Ensure attention to detail in all tasks.Utilize SAP software (experience preferred, as we will be migrating to this system).Cross-train and gain system access.Interact with the management team handling shipping functions and the hourly team responsible for picking.Understand and communicate supply chain processes.Notify the receiving team of arrivals using a walkie-talkie.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in fast-moving consumer goods.Ability to handle high-volume tasks.Strong attention to detail.Experience with SAP software.Forklift experience is a plus but not required.Physical Requirements:
This role involves physical tasks, and candidates should be comfortable with the demands of the job.Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with available overtime.Additional Information:
