**Job Title: Shipping Clerk** **Responsibilities** + Assist in unloading and loading of containers using forklift or floor jack. + Label and restack merchandise on pallets as needed (prepare items for storage). + Perform inbound and outbound activities using RF scanners. + Deliver goods to proper storage areas to be put into stock, Non-conform, or NSP areas. + Complete final inspections of incoming and outgoing goods and report any discrepancies. + Consolidate, pack, and ship orders to meet customer and carrier requirements. + Assist the Manager to ensure timely and accurate processing of all orders. + Keep the work area cleaned and well-organized. **Essential Skills** + Experience operating sit-down forklift. + Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds. + Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures. + Willingness to work overtime as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
