**Job Title: Shipping Clerk** **Job Description** Coordinate all shipping, packaging, and received components, supplies, and materials according to company and customer specifications. **Responsibilities** + Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and motivation to combine the team’s energy and expertise to achieve a common objective. + Understand the dynamics of effective teamwork in order to attain higher levels of performance. + Work as part of a tight-knit and competent group of people. + Accept responsibility and accountability. + Engage in teams built from other departments of the organization. + Balance the needs of the organization and the needs of the customer. + Practice goal-directed thinking and action in situations for which no routine solutions exist. + Scrutinize and breakdown facts and thoughts into strengths and weaknesses. + Practice effective meaningful two-way communication by speaking clearly, paying attention, seeking to understand others, listening attentively, clarifying information, and attending to nonverbal cues. + Demonstrate an interest in personal learning and development; seek feedback from multiple sources and modify behavior based on feedback or self-analysis of past mistakes. + Anticipate changes in work demands and participate in assignments or training that address these changing demands; treat unexpected circumstances as opportunities to learn. + Work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines. + Process all outbound shipments in accordance with company/customer requirements using MRP system. + Operate MRP System, verifying all information as the order is processed, and input the correct information as required. + Perform shipping and packaging responsibilities for outbound/inbound freight, including packaging products, documentation preparation, contacting carriers, and handling international shipments. + Maintain records as required according to industry standards and company practices. + Perform driving responsibilities to deliver or pick-up merchandise according to company requirements. + Cross-train in all essential requirements of the Inventory/Receiving Group. + Assist the Inventory/Receiving Group throughout the designated shift whenever primary shipping duties are completed. + Other duties as requested. **Essential Skills** + Valid Driver's license and ability to meet company requirements for company drivers’ insurance. + Proficiency in accurately operating a computer MRP System. + Knowledge and proficiency with shipping and packaging processes and requirements. + Ability to cross-train in other departments as required by management. + Attention to detail. + Ability to read and understand shipment schedules. + Professional interface with Accounting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Experience in inventory management, cycle counts, and warehouse operations. + Forklift certification. + Material handling experience. + Experience in the semiconductor industry. **Why Work Here?** Working in a high-tech field offers an exciting and innovative environment. Professional setting engaged in the manufacturing of components, systems, and service-related products. Maintain a professional image in accordance with company appearance standards. ISO certified environment. Some noise and plastic chips in the manufacturing area. Safety glasses are recommended on the manufacturing floor outside of designated safety corridors. Hearing protection is recommended in the vicinity of machinery. Compliance with company safety practices and procedures is required. Ability to stand and/or walk for the majority of the designated shift. Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
