Shipping Coordinator

 

Position Summary 

OPEX Corporation is looking to hire a full time Shipping Coordinator to work at our World Headquarters in Moorestown, NJ. The worker must be able to commit to a full-time schedule while working during our first shift from 8:00am through 4:30pm. We are looking for dependable, organized, and team-oriented individuals for this opening. Responsibilities

Utilize plant ERP system (Oracle) to process all outgoing shipments Schedule all freight pickups on a daily basis Create/maintain truck drivers delivery schedule Prepare all documents, labels and packaging necessary for outgoing shipments Communicate with freight handlers, customers, brokers and all necessary parties in the supply chain to coordinate incoming and outgoing freight. Work with Production and Inventory Control to verify inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy Work in conjunction with the Sales/Service teams to ensure timely scheduling of equipment deliveries and moves

 

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent experience Previous Shipping Coordinator experience Proficient in MS Office Ability to communicate complex topics with various customers via email and phone Solve problems independently to ensure timely deliveries International shipping knowledge Experience using Oracle or a similar ERP system is a plus Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks Ability to lift 50 pounds LTL and small package experience Prior Transportation Industry experience helpful
