Shipping Coordinator
**Adecco is looking for a temporary shipping coordinator in Sunnyvale, CA!** Applicants must have experience shipping high-value items, performing transactions in WMS/ERP systems, and a background in warehousing/logistics. **Pay** : $30/hr **Contract Length** : 18 months **Shift** : Day (potential 7a-8a start time) **Requirements** : relevant experience and HS Diploma **Role and Responsibilities:** • Examine contents and compare with shipping request to verify accuracy of outgoing shipments • Prepare documents such as Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, Shippers Letter of Information and ship orders to route materials • Measure/weigh and record shipment data such as weight and dimension • Determine shipping method for material using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates • Deliver or route materials to departments using Forklift or pallet jack • Process domestic shipments using FedEx Ship Manager • Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials • Load/unload materials from/to trucks • Responsible for ensuring all shipments are coordinated in accordance with EHS policies and procedures and suspicious material is placed on hold and reported to the onsite Safety team immediately • Palletize and prep material, create packaging if needed • Create Part Number, Serial Number, Lot Number, Qty label if needed • Perform material transactions in Oracle if needed • Maintain records such as Outbound Log and prepare reports related to assigned activities • Ensure export documentation is correctly completed and shipments are made in compliance with US and International regulations • Maintain good housekeeping of the Shipping area and comply with safety requirements. • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with Bloom • Ensure that the Bloom internal customer is provided with accurate, timely and relevant data in regards to their Shipping requests • Flexible to work overtime on weekdays, weekends and/or company holidays as needed • Participate in the weekly on-call program on a rotational basis • Perform other duties as required and identified by the area Supervisor/Manager • Perform monthly Cycle Count • Participate in annual Physical Inventory **Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
