Description:
Forklift/Roll Clamp Operator is responsible to insure shipment/receiving deadlines are met on a daily basis. Loading and unloading the warehouse, trailers and railcars safely and within the guidelines. Recognize and correct or report any safety, quality or production issues utilizing tools provided. Achieve the highest level of quality, productivity and superior housekeeping. Ability to communicate with multiple departments.

The Job You Will Perform:
Follow all Safety and Housekeeping rules Fill out Forklift Safety Check Sheet at the start of each shift Inspect trailers prior to loading: damage, cleanliness, etc. Check off line on Tally Sheet and write down any defects. Notify Clerk if any issues Access KIWI for machine line-up Communicate with Clerk on orders coming down line: load into trailer or warehouse Understand IRF Follow special instructions for each order Communicate discrepancies to Clerk & or T.R. Fill out tally sheet for each order Load trailers according to Customer requirements
The Skills You Will Bring:
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, corrugated or converting industry is preferred, but not required.
Willing to work overtime as needed Strong work ethic, good judgement and decision-making skills Perform well with limited direct supervision Knowledge of general computer operations
