POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a responsible Shipping & Receiving Clerk with a CDL to order and receive product, move/disseminate product through the facility, and prepare product for shipping. Candidate should have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. The candidate should have some physical strengths to unload shipments as well as some computer and clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Review documentation / work orders, check paperworkSet up and prepare product for shippingMove product in/around the facility & reel yard, Build cradles, Prepare product: weigh,wrap, document / check documents, and load and unload trucksOperate variety of vehicles inside and outside of buildingOrganize, fill and replace fork truck propane cylinders.Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacementsLabel deliveries and allocate them to their designated placeMaintain accurate records and assist in inventory controlCommunicate with supervisors/managers and lead operatorsPerform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS

CDL Class B license (preferred not required)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience working in shipping and receiving or similar positionExperience in operating forkliftsWorking knowledge of computer programs for entering data (axiom a plus)Basic understanding of health and safety regulationsBasic math and recording abilitiesExcellent organizational skillsGreat communication and interpersonal abilitiesKeen eye for detail

Target Compensation:$23.00/hr - $25.00/hr
