\r\nAs a Shipping & Receiving Clerk you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPrepare shipping documents: Generate and verify accurate shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and legal regulations.\r\n\tCoordinate shipments: Arrange transportation and schedule pickups with carriers, ensuring optimal routing, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products.\r\n\tMaterials handling: Safe movement and placement of raw, packaging and finished good materials into and out of inventory including positioning into the queues for production.\r\n\tMonitor inventory: Collaborate with warehouse personnel to maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and update records in the inventory management system.\r\n\tPackaging and labeling: Oversee the proper packaging and labeling of products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and customer specifications.\r\n\tQuality control: Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality standards, including verifying correct quantities and product accuracy.\r\n\tAddress inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and tracking information in a professional and timely manner.\r\n\tResolving issues: Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, such as damaged products, shortages, or overages, by working closely with the warehouse team, carriers, and customers.\r\n\tCompliance adherence: Stay up to date with shipping regulations, hazardous materials requirements, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and minimize risks.\r\n\tProcess improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining shipping processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.\r\n\tDocumentation and record-keeping: Maintain accurate shipping records, including proof of delivery, shipment tracking, and any relevant documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and audit compliance.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time opportunity Monday - Friday.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.\r\n\tProven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar shipping/receiving role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.\r\n\tFamiliarity with shipping software and inventory management systems is highly desirable.\r\n\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational and time management skills.\r\n\tAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.\r\n\tEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, customers, and carriers.\r\n\tKnowledge of shipping regulations, hazardous materials handling, and customs requirements is advantageous.\r\n\tProficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).\r\n\tPhysical stamina and the ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds.\r\n\tCFR49/forklift/hazmat required.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $20.00 - 23.00 per hour
