Overall Purpose\n

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy at the point of receiving, shipping and general warehousing. This position requires proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. This person works closely with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy and care of our customer's material.\n

Responsibilities\n

(To include but not limited to the following)\n

Client Relationship & Business Development\n

Operations\n

\u00b7 Receive shipments through goods receipt and entering shipments into WITS (Web Inventory Tracking System)\n

\u00b7 Create appropriate shipping labels and other applicable shipping documents for outbound shipments\n

\u00b7 Perform daily dock audits for verification of inbound and outbound shipments\n

\u00b7 Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks and verify that related documents are completed correctly\n

\u00b7 Ensure processes and procedures are followed to ensure inventory accuracy\n

\u00b7 Conduct and reconcile cycle counts\n

\u00b7 Conduct and reconcile yearly physical inventory\n

\u00b7 Research, identify, and locate inventory discrepancy\n

\u00b7 Segregate and dispose of defective materials\n

\u00b7 Other duties and\/or responsibilities as assigned\n
