Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinatork is responsible for shipping, receiving, returns, carrier relations, order management, product management and customer service. Assumes prompt, accurate, and systematic handling of finished goods and raw materials orders while providing outstanding customer service
Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on 2nd shift Tuesday - Saturday 1:00pm - 9:30pm.Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as schedule requires.
Position Responsibilities
Check in and out truck drivers in a timely manner using Carrier Point (logistics software used by Ryder)Accurately handle all transactions which in many cases are legal documentsAssign drivers to doors to be loaded and unloadedAssign material handlers to load the trucks Complete the bill of ladings for drivers and get the proper signaturesMaintain the office areas to include filing and cleaning duties as requiredEnsure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the Company and Standards established by Office of Safety and Health AdministrationExecute new approaches/procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and services performed Total Rewards Pay starting at $24.72 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $26.00 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.Where Applicable:
